There are many ways to make Strawberry Margaritas and some of it is seasonal depending on what ingredients are the freshest on hand. I live in Minnesota so sometimes when the fresh strawberries aren’t in season we resort to Vinegar or Shrubs and Simple Syrups for that sweet and tart berry flavor, especially when crafting a fresh Strawberry Margarita cocktail.

If you have fresh ingredients on hand, here’s how to create your summer Strawberry Margarita, perfect for sipping on sunny days.
Ingredients
- 16 oz fresh strawberries washed with the tops cut off (Save for making Strawberry Shrub)
- 1 cup tequila
- 2/3 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup triple sec liquor
Instructions
- To a blender or food processor add strawberries, tequila, lime juice, honey, and triple sec. Pulse until completely smooth, resulting in a blend perfect for a delicious Strawberry Margarita.
- Fill each rimmed glass about half full with ice. Add drink mixture, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve immediately for a perfect Strawberry Margarita experience.
This same exact recipe can be adapted by using Rum instead of tequila to make a strawberry daiquiri.
