The Knob Creek Boulevardier

What is a boulevardier cocktail? Well, I am glad you asked. A boulevardier cocktail is a 3 ingredient cocktail that is equal parts Campari, rye whisky or bourbon, and sweet red vermouth. It is stirred, strained, and served over ice in a rocks glass. The garnish is usually a simple orange peel.

Some people think of the boulevardier as a winter cocktail with its bittersweet, warm, and spicy quality, but I always think of it as a fall cocktail that reflects the orange of the changing leaves in Minnesota. It tastes like your vintage old leather jacket feels — sexy, comfortable, and like your favorite.

Try one.
