Strawberry Daiquiri

When you hear ‘Strawberry Daiquiri’ do you think of the swim-up bar in Cabo at the all-inclusive resort pouring a giant bottle of unlabeled grain alcohol into the frozen drink machine? If so, you are not alone. The daiquiri, however, has literary leanings being the author Ernest Hemingway’s favorite drink. When you have beautiful strawberry shrubs made by Alex Zweber of Sharab Shrubs the Strawberry Daiquiri becomes a complex blend of sweet and tart that is as at home on a January day as it is on a July day.

Strawberry Daiquiri

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 oz white rum
• 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
• 1/2 teaspoon super fine sugar
• 1 oz Sharab Shrubs Strawberry Shrub

Instructions

Combine all ingredients including Sharab Shubs Strawberry shrub in a shaker with ice.

Shake, then strain into a coupe glass
