Smoked Whitefish Spread

Smoked whitefish spread

Every Summer we visit our friends Chas and Trish in Cornucopia, Wisconsin. This year we made it twice to camp our Winnebago Paseo in their driveway. When we visit Chas and Trish we go sailing out of the Corny Marina where there is a great fish store called Halvorson’s Fish Market. They have smoked lake trout, whitefish and salmon filets. They make a delicious lake trout spread that I was obsessed with one weekend and ate almost all of it. This is my attempt to recreate a smoked whitefish spread.

Smoked Whitefish Spread Recipe

  • 1 boneless smoked filet whitefish, (you can sub in lake trout or salmon — about 8 oz)
