Mocktail Recipes

If you’re doing a dry January, or abstaining for other reasons, these are some fun mocktail recipes to try at home. Each recipe makes one to two mocktails, depending on portion size.

Mock Mojito Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 c cold peppermint tea
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • a handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 limes, juice and zest
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • sparkling water
  • fresh mint leaves and lemon wedge for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the peppermint tea, honey, mint leaves, lime juice and zest, and lemon juice to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture into a large pitcher to remove any bits of mint leaves that remain.
  3. Fill glasses half-way with the mixture and top it off with sparkling water, a lemon wedge, and some fresh mint

Cranberry Kombucha Mocktail

Cranberry Kombucha Mocktail Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 inch slice of fresh ginger, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
  • 1 large sprig fresh rosemary, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 c 100% cranberry juice
  • 1 12 oz bottle (original or ginger) kombucha
  • Fresh cranberries, rosemary sprigs and thinly sliced ginger for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill double old-fashioned glasses with ice and set aside.
  2. In a mason jar, muddle sliced ginger and rosemary together using the end of a wooden spoon or a muddler if you have one.
  3. Add cranberry juice and kombucha to fill, stir gently to combine.
  4. Pour into ice-filled glasses (using a strainer, if necessary) and garnish with sprigs of rosemary, a slice of fresh ginger and a few cranberries before serving.

Strawberry Rose Lemonade MocktailFentimans Rose Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice and set aside.
  2. Pour 2 tbsp Strawberry Shrub into a collins glass.
  3. Add Fentimans Rose Lemonade to fill.
  4. Garnish with mint and cucumber.

Apple Pie Mule Mocktail

Apple Pie Mule Mocktail Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz apple cider
  • 1/2 bottle of ginger beer
  • Cinnamon sticks and apple slices for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a copper mug with crushed ice.
  2. Pour half of the apple cider mixture into each mug.
  3. Top each mug with ginger beer until full.
  4. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and apple slices.

Mojito Mocktail (Mock-jito)Bootleg Beverage Mix

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a collins glass with crushed ice.
  2. Pour 4 oz Summer Lakes beverage mix into the glass
  3. Top glass with soda water until full.
  4. Garnish with mint and lime slices.
  5. Add straw.

Apple Grapefruit Rosemary Sparkler MocktailSharab Shrubs Mixes for Mocktails

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz Sharab Shrubs Apple Rosemary Shrub mix.
  • Spindrift Grapefruit Soda water.
  • Grapefruit twist for garnish.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with shrub and Soda water with ice.
  2. Shake.
  3. Pour into a champagne glass or flute.
  4. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

Mock Tail Mule

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can plain LaCroix
  • 4 oz ginger beer (I like Tree Fort that is local or Fever-Tree)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 c crushed ice (plus more to fill your mug, if needed)
  • 1 thin slice of lime (for garnish) 

Instructions

  1.  Place crushed ice into a copper mug
  2. Add half a can of La Croix into mug.
  3. Add 4oz of ginger beer to mug.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice to mug.
  5. Mix and garnish with fresh lime and a sprig of mint

Blood Orange and Rosemary Mocktail

Ingredients

Instructions:

  1. Grate ginger over shaker
  2. Add Rosemary sprig
  3. Add honey
  4. Add bitters
  5. Muddle ingredients together for one minute.
  6. Add blood orange juice
  7. Shake
  8. Pour into Collins or Rocks glass and top with sparkling soda
  9. Garnish with sprig fresh Rosemary and Blood Orange slice.
