I love hard apple cider. From Sociable Cider Werks in Northeast Minneapolis to Sweetland Orchard (about 45 mins southwest of the Twin Cities), we have a ton of great local options for ciders around the state. But you know what? Sometimes I want something a little different than just a cider. Something that has all the delicious apple flavor, but packs a little more punch. This apple cider cocktail is a great alternative to a traditional cider, and is a wonderful drink for sipping around a fall bonfire.
This recipe combines apple cider with fresh apples to really bring out the apple flavor, and includes a little tarty lime. A splash of soda water adds a little carbonation and you still have some apple cider in there to keep things classic and fall-like. I promise you’ll enjoy this one.
