The Best Minnesota Chocolatiers for Valentines Day

Homemade artisan chocolates are welcome any day of the year, but Valentine’s Day chocolates are extra special, and the Twin Cities has some of the best Minnesota chocolatiers.  Here are some of my favorite chocolate makers in Minnesota to visit. Stock up on local chocolates for all your Valentines, “Palentines” or “Galentines” this year

Chocolat Celeste:

Mary Leonard is in her 20th year of making beautiful chocolate bonbons filled with delicious ganache at her St Paul shop, Chocolat Celeste. She uses the best local cream, butter, and the finest European chocolates to make her bonbons.  These chocolates are as beautiful as eye-catching and are my daughter’s favorite Valentine. Call to order, and they will ship to your Valentine, or you can pick them up at the St Paul chocolate shop. Boxed valentines range from $10-$150.  This beautiful satin heart box has 32 pieces.  Everyone loves to receive a beautiful box.  This Rosebud satin heart box is $108. Customers order for local pick up on the website. You can arrange delivery throughout Minnesota and the United States.

Sweet Stuff Minnesota:

Sweet Stuff Minnesota is a company I discovered on Instagram, and then I met them at a pop-up market. Kerri Hall is a cottage producer of sweet treats that are so clever and full of whimsy. These are for the fun seekers in your life – Beautiful chocolate boxes you break open with more goodies inside, chocolate bombs filled with cocoa and glitter, and edible toppers that you can with your phone and “Kiss” by Prince will play. Chocolate Heart candy boxes or cake pops are almost too cute to eat. And they even have anti-Valentines for people lamenting the day. They are available for order online for delivery locally or throughout the United States and they have a pop-up scheduled on 2/12 at T-Rex Cookies in Eagan.

Patisserie 46 Minneapolis

Rose Street Patisserie St Paul

John Kraus is one of the world’s best bakers, literally having won the Silver medal in the Coup de Monde French baking competition. His box of bonbons(available at Patisserie  46 Minneapolis or  Rose Street Patisserie St Paul ) are the perfect sweet treat and helps you understand how beautiful chocolates taste and feel in your mouth: smooth buttery and a decadent treat at $15. You can order online or for delivery throughout the United States or visit their bakeries in person. Their $60 dessert tasting for Valentine’s Day may be the move – You get a macaron tart, six-piece bonbons, a sweet elixir called love potion 46, an ultimate brownie, fruit jellies, and chocolate marshmallows.

St Croix Chocolate Co:

Chocolatier Robyn Dochterman left a career in journalism to study fine chocolate techniques from top pastry chefs and made lemons out of being laid off into lemonade by starting St Croix Chocolate Co in St Croix. Her boxes are beautiful, the prices great, and they ship all over the country, or you can visit the shop. The Puppy Love bar is perfect for your Galentine’s, or if you are going significant, how about putting a ring on it with these lovely chocolate boxes as the gift box? Their giant sea turtles with sea salt caramel and pecans are 5 to a package for $20 are not to be missed, and the white signature box with 16 pieces of chocolates is an excellent value at $44. You can order online for delivery throughout Minnesota and the United States or shop their store in the beautiful St Croix Valley.
