Slow-Cooker Candied Walnuts

A pile of toasted walnuts spread on a silicone baking mat placed on a dark surface. The mat is labeled "made in France".

I love candied walnuts during the fall and winter. This recipe is especially great because it’s made in the slower cooker, meaning it is as simple as can be. It takes a little patience once the nuts finish cooking, but the wait is worth it so the treat can cool and crisp back up. I include some spices you can include in your recipe, but you can also let the butter and brown sugar be the star of the show for a sweet treat.
