It’s a snowy Winter, and coming back from Mexico had me craving Beef Barley Soup and bread. Beef barley soup I was ready to make as I saved some leftover prime rib and the rib bones from Christmas dinner. This left me to the bread. My last few sourdough outings have been a little sad. I have gotten a few hard balls that ate fine. However, they didn’t have that beautiful crumb or shape that my friend Amanda gets from her Heartbeet Kitchen Sourdough.
I used to bake bread with Zoe Francois book “Artisan Bread in 5”. Thus, I decided to go back to that book and that recipe. I made a bitty boule for myself to enjoy with my soup.
