Thanksgiving Catering – 11.19 The Jason Show

Does the thought of preparing the Thanksgiving feast fill you with joy or dread? I am personally really excited about cooking the feast but if it is not something you want to take on don’t sweat it. There are so many great ways to get your feast catered. If picking up the phone seems easier than picking up the whisk, here is a guide to some local Thanksgiving catering.

Have a few Vegans in the house? Do you love white meat and your family loves dark meat? Order both at Birchwood Café served with gravy, stuffing, squash and homemade chutney. Birchwood is very careful about their sourcing and you can accommodate your Gluten-free family members.

What I love about this:

The Brandy braised or Rosemary Lime turkey treatments are delicious and they DELIVER plus you can add on gluten-free pies!

Deadline for Ordering:

Available until sold out with Pick up or Delivery on Tuesday 11/26 or Wednesday 11/27.

Kowalskis Market:

Kowalski’s offers an entire turkey dinner for delivery or pick up. For one set price you get the whole feast for 8-10 people including a local, naturally-raised turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry relish, dinner rolls, and 2 pies!

What I love about this:

Delicious Turkey and they DELIVER! What could be simpler than that?

Deadline for Ordering :

Will sell until sold out. Delivery or Pick up must occur Wednesday 11/27.

Blue Plate Restaurants

Blue Plate will help you get your entire feast cooked and to the table in 40 minutes. Each

Meal includes Roasted Turkey Breast, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Cornbread Stuffing, Green Beans and Brandy Mushrooms, Cranberry Preserves, and Sweet Potato Gratin. Each complete meal is prepared for 4 so if you have more guests order 2 for 8 and so on.

What I love about this:

Restaurant quality entire feats in 40 minutes? You have to be kidding. You are left with tons of time for game playing or catching up with your guests. If cooking is not your jam this is a great idea.

Deadline for Ordering: Online Sunday 11.24.

You can buy a Turkey by the pound that is rubbed with preserved lemon butter and trussed and ready for roasting or you can buy the bird fully cooked so all you have to do is reheat it. For the sides, they have cauliflower mash, traditional mashed potatoes, turkey stuffing, haricot vert, brussels sprouts, squash, root vegetable roasts and they even have pie.

What I love about this:

You can pick up your order on Wednesday and pop over and get the Thanksgiving 4-pack of wine hand-selected to pair with your feast.

Deadline for Ordering:

Calling or email: online Sunday 11.24.

Animales BBQ –

Smoked Turkey or smoked pork shoulder from Animales BBQ is a way to experience the feast BBQ style! Sides are priced per person and include beans, biscuits, grits, pickles, and gravy and are priced per person.

What I love about this: J

Jon Wipfli’s BBQ is a true stand out.

Order by Monday 11.21 at 5pm for pick up Tuesday 11.26.
