Mother’s Day Curbside Pick up Ideas

No matter what type of mom you have there is a curbside pick up solution for you this Mother’s Day. Here is my list based on your type of mom.

Earth Mothers:

If your Mom shops farmers’ markets and has a CSA The Wise Acres Eatery brunch will be her Jam. Wise Acres is a restaurant in Minneapolis, but they also own a farm and get their eggs, vegetables, and meats from their farm. In addition to the Mothers Day Brunch spread, you can throw some vegetables or pantry goods and cuts of beef, pork, or some chickens in your online cart and save mom a trip later in the week.

Brunch for 4 includes:

Egg bake with ham, Swiss cheese, asparagus, and spring onion. Cheesy breakfast potatoes, their famous french toast, buttermilk biscuits and a bottle of Baron De Seillac French sparkling wine (I love this sparkling wine) with farm-grown berry sauce for creating your own Bellini.

Cost: $80.00 .

How to Order: Please email to reserve your Mother’s day brunch. Please provide your name, phone number, and what time you’d like to pick up your order. Orders may be reserved for pick up between noon and 6 pm on Saturday, May 9. You will be contacted via telephone to complete the payment.

Deadline to Order: May 9

Sophisticated Urbanites:

If your mom is something of a Sophisticated Urbanite but thinks she is not fancy – The Kenwood Brunch is perfect for her. They take care of everything from food, flowers, and bubbly (again the Baron De Seillac sparkling Rose, which is a favorite of mine).

Brunch includes:

Gem lettuce salad with strawberries, pistachio, chevre and champagne vinaigrette plus a 10oz grilled Ribeye with potatoes and Spring vegetables and Chef Don’s Mom’s Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream

Cost: $55 per person for food. Sparkling Rose and Flowers upcharge.
