Cheesy Christmas Artichokes Recipe

This is the cheesy artichokes recipe that we have been bringing to Christmas Eve for more than 25 years. Enjoy!

Cheesy Artichokes

Serves 12-15

Ingredients

  • 6 Packages Birds Eye frozen artichoke hearts (you can substitute canned artichokes)
  • 16 oz cream cheese (2 8 oz packages)
  • 1 c butter
  • 1 c chopped chives (you can substitute green onions)
  • 2 c shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Thaw artichoke hearts.
  2. Place in a shallow baking dish.
  3. Mix cream cheese, butter, chives, salt and pepper (doing this step in a stand mixer makes it really easy).
  4. Dollop mixture over artichokes.
  5. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees F until bubbly and a bit brown on top and heated through.
