Whole 30 day 5.
I made it on a Friday night without wine. I might have also spent the night watching Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir hosting the US Figure Skating Championships so it was not the most rousing night but I did it. I woke up early to excercise but was tired and cold so I got up and went to shut off the alarm and slept until 8. I was starving in the AM so I ate 2 eggs, an avocado and some roasted beets and sweet potato for breakfast. Lunch was leftover pulled pork, roasted sweet potato, beets and potato. We stayed in and cooked a ribeye, roasted potatoes and sauteed mushrooms for dinner. I stopped and bought some strawberries in case I was feeling like something sweet after dinner but I only ate a few. I ate 2 Applegate breakfast sausages about 10 minutes ago and honestly I am still hungry. Thank God it’s bed time, Tommorow we are going to a Friends for dinner. @sue_jacob is a master with dessert so that could be a real test. They are my besties so I texted I was in the #lowcarb way and her husband’s reply was – “it’s up to you to not eat dessert.” LOL so true. The good news is tommorow is Saturday and we have our radio show for 2 hours to talk about food! This may help me not want to eat it! #weeklydish #stephaniesdish #whole30 #stpaulfoodie #healthyfood
